Only thing was staff touching their hair and phone then touching food without gloves

I hit Leo's every single time I visit the area. They have these artisan slices like chicken marsala, penne alfredo pizza, chicken bacon ranch, etc. Prices for a slice are exceptional for these styles of pizza. There is something about this location though, gets very busy sometimes, parking can be annoying. Park on the side of GameStop especially if you're getting a slice and leaving.

Welcome to Leo's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Newburgh, a vibrant gem nestled in the heart of Newburgh, NY. Located at 1431 NY-300, this establishment has become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike, attracting those eager to indulge in authentic Italian cuisine and delightful pizzas.

From the moment you step through the doors, Leo's envelops you in a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for casual family dinners or a quick meal on the go. Patrons rave about their artisan pizza slices that boast unique toppings like chicken marsala and penne alfredo, offering a twist on traditional favorites. The prices for these gourmet slices are not just appealing, but exceptional, making them a go-to choice for pizza aficionados. However, be prepared for a bustling atmosphere, especially during peak hours, when the aroma of fresh ingredients wafts through the air.

The menu at Leo's is not solely focused on pizza, though. Each dish is crafted with care, from hearty pastas to delectable seafood options. Customers have particularly praised the lobster ravioli and clams casino, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to high-quality ingredients and flavor. For those looking to enhance their meal, side options like grilled asparagus with balsamic glaze or roasted garlic broccoli rabe are thoughtfully prepared and priced reasonably, ranging from $6 to $7.

  • Grilled Asparagus: Drizzled with balsamic glaze for a refreshing touch - $6.00
  • Meatballs: A classic addition to any Italian meal - $7.00
  • Artisan Pizza Slices: Unique flavors available that are popular among regulars

It's not just the food that impresses; many customers share stories of exceptional service, which enhances the overall dining experience. Though there have been occasional remarks about staff hygiene practices, the majority of patrons leave Leo’s raving about their delicious meals and friendly service.

Leo's also caters to those who may not be in the mood for pizza with a selection of burgers and healthier sides, making it versatile enough for every diner’s preferences. We highly recommend trying the Sunnyside Burger, topped with a fried egg and bacon for a satisfying indulgence, or the California Veggie Burger, which is light yet filling, featuring avocado and fresh mozzarella.

In conclusion, Leo's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Newburgh remains a staple in the community, offering both comforting classics and innovative dishes. With its welcoming environment, delicious food, and commendable service, it is not just a meal but an experience.
